When the 'handbrake' is off...
Yo,
Not sure If I mentioned that to you, I come from a post-communist, war-torn country.
As you can imagine, ‘freedom’ was something that was a bit lacking.
In war you can't travel, so you're stuck.
So my mind was, and still is, focused on freedom.
I figured I would run a successful business.
That will be my ticket out.
So after that war mess, I was driven.
Man, I would go for whatever (nothing criminal) that would pay me good money.
Strategy worked, but I was unhappy.
In my chase, I did a lot of work which was dissatisfying but I had good intentions.
Meaning I made just about a million and one mistakes.
I ‘failed’ a lot.
I spent time, money and resources just to get that freedom.
The guilt was there because of past mistakes.
And that was the confusing part - I wanted to make it so badly but I was ‘failing’.
Fast forward a decade or so, I learned that guilt acts as a ‘handbrake’.
Can't go forward unless you release it.
Now, I see many business owners, millionaires, who made a few ‘mistakes’ they ‘failed’ they say.
(by the way there are no failures just errors, failure doesn’t exist)
Anyway, they took that identity.
The handbrake is on.
The confusion is there.
Because of their drive, like mine, sometimes we get stuck in that s****d ‘mistake’.
But hey, it was just a mistake.
They were “Freedom Flow” comes in.
A simple technique which allows first insights to come after 7 minutes, then very quickly to release that ‘mistake’ guilt or whatever it is.
Then the handbrake is off.
Full speed ahead.
That is what happened to Simon, he went from being owed 50k to being paid six figures in a matter of weeks.
With the handbrake off.
More about that on Monday.
Until then may you have the best weekend ever!
